Turning Real Moments into Scroll-Stopping Ad Campaigns
Scroll-stopping ads are the foundation of high-performing campaigns.
For this project, a cinematic AI video campaign was developed for Unsubscribe.ai to interrupt passive scrolling and capture attention instantly. The concept centers on a moment almost everyone recognizes – an unexpected subscription charge.
Instead of explaining the product upfront, the ad leads with reaction and emotion, allowing the viewer to connect before the solution is introduced.
We worked with the client to define their customer persona and identified a core audience of users actively engaging with apps, subscriptions, and streaming platforms – those most likely to experience subscription fatigue. The creative direction was shaped to resonate with a broad 60/40 female-to-male audience, balancing tone and pacing to appeal across both segments.
To increase engagement, the concept draws from familiar entertainment patterns, blending elements of horror and “Scary Movie” style comedy. This combination of tension and humor reflects the type of content this audience already consumes, making the ad feel culturally relevant rather than disruptive.
Through generative artificial intelligence and prompt engineering, we used traditional editing software, generative artificial intelligence and prompt engineering – it stops the scroll and pulls viewers into the story within seconds.
The result is a campaign designed to capture attention, feel familiar, and drive action.

Cloning Real Human Emotion for Authentic Storytelling
The effectiveness of the ad depends on how believable the character feels.
Rather than treating each frame independently, the character was developed with consistency in expression, posture, and visual continuity. This ensures that emotional transitions – from confusion to realization – feel natural and connected.
Subtle details such as eye movement, pacing, and framing were refined to maintain realism across scenes. The goal is not to create a “perfect” character, but one that feels familiar enough to be trusted.
This consistency allows the viewer to stay focused on the message rather than questioning the medium. Through prompt engineering, we replicated:
- Facial expressions
- Lighting consistency
- Emotional timing
This goes beyond visuals. It’s about creating a recognizable human presence.

Structuring the Narrative Before Execution
Before any scenes were generated, the full narrative was mapped visually.
Each moment in the video was defined in advance – from the opening hook to the final resolution. This includes timing, framing, and how information is revealed to the viewer.
By structuring the story upfront, the production avoids unnecessary iteration and ensures that every scene contributes to the overall objective: holding attention and guiding the viewer toward understanding.
The production approach combines traditional editing workflows with a flexible stack of generative AI tools, including Midjourney, Seedance 2.0, Google Veo 3.2, Kling 3.0, and Sora – allowing for speed, iteration, and creative control throughout the process – creates clarity in both message and pacing, which is critical for short-form ad performance.

With the structure defined, the focus shifts to execution. Multiple creative variations were developed to align with Meta’s evolving Andromeda algorithm, which prioritizes diverse, high-performing assets.
Each variation explores different tones, pacing, and genre-driven hooks tailored to this audience.
Each scene was developed to feel grounded in real-world behavior – how someone checks their phone, reacts to a notification, and processes what they’re seeing.
Lighting, composition, and motion were adjusted to match familiar visual patterns, reducing friction and increasing believability.
Rather than emphasizing the technology behind the scenes, the priority is making the final output feel natural and effortless to watch.
Performance & Delivery
From AI Concept to High-Converting Video Asset
The final video is not treated as a single asset – it is built as part of a performance system.
Rather than relying on one creative, multiple variations were developed to test different hooks, pacing, and tonal approaches. Each version is designed to capture attention in a slightly different way, allowing the platform to identify what resonates fastest with the audience.
This approach aligns with how Meta’s evolving delivery systems – including the Andromeda algorithm – prioritize diverse, high-performing creative. Fresh variations are introduced continuously, giving the platform more opportunities to test, learn, and scale what works.
Each asset follows the same core narrative structure while adjusting the creative execution. This maintains consistency in messaging while avoiding creative fatigue.
The result is not just a finished video, but a scalable system designed to:
- Capture attention within the first few seconds and stop the scroll
- Maintain engagement through pacing, relatability, and clear messaging
- Adapt across multiple creatives to improve performance as campaigns scale
