We like to start by discussing what opportunities you’d like to take advantage of. Then we look at the scope of the assignment, timing, budget, your wish list and end deliverables. Finally, we discuss initial recommendations, ideas and a rough idea of our scheduling and input touch points.
This is where most people will tell you the "magic happens." In reality, this is where hard work and experience come into play. Regardless if we're producing a series of print ads for you, or a full-blown integrated campaign, our creative teams wade through every scrap and bit of information they've been given and works against a creative brief to make sure every idea they produce is on strategy. We produce rough sketches and outlines for your review, and once we've found the look, feel and functionality you've been looking for, we move forward into production.
When Deviate Media develops your web site, we don’t just jump into programming and pictures, we first consider the navigation. From the moment your customers hit your home page, we want to guide their overall experience. That way you know the exact content they’ll see, when they’ll see it and what they’ll come away with. Once we’ve discovered the best approach to take, we begin programming and graphic production, then the site architecture is compiled.
Once we’re satisfied that we’ve found the right structure, we immerse ourselves in the overall design and functionality of your site. Just as much as words create a tone and manner for your brand, so do the looks, sounds, colors and textures on your site. This stage is also when we begin heavy proofing, adding and/or deleting copy, final image selections and final content reviews. We also call in the exterminator. No one wants any bugs.
You can’t test enough. We want to run your site on as many platforms and against as many configurations as we can. We want to know that both PC users and MAC users will all receive the exact same content. We want to know loading time for 56k all the way to T1 connections. The exterminator is called in again just to make sure no critters are left. This stage isn’t over until we’re satisfied and confident that all systems are go.
Now that all deliverables have been delivered, on time and on budget, post-production kicks in. We backup everything we’ve created for you numerous times and make sure everything has been archived. We also go over all our numbers to make sure they match up with yours and we schedule a post-partim with you to review our entire process to see if there are any opportunities to improve how we work together. This allows us to strengthen our partnership and make sure future projects run even smoother. Nothing is more important to us then your feedback.
"We have received such a positive response to our new web site, I wanted to thank everyone at deviate media for doing a great job! We are now projecting the true image of our company, not the misrepresentation we had previously. Our sales have increased since our launch due to our new creditable and professional web presence."
